Lightmute is an online cosmetics store operating in the United States. We are responsible for processing your personal information as described in this privacy policy. For questions, contact info@lightmute.com.
2. Information we collect
When you place an order we collect: name, email address, shipping address, phone number, and payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never store your payment details ourselves.
3. How we use your information
We use your information solely to: process and ship your order, send order confirmations and tracking updates, and handle returns and warranty requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use functional cookies necessary for the checkout process, and — subject to your choice — analytics and advertising cookies. Specifically, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and optimise our advertising. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline these. If you decline, we do not load analytics or advertising cookies. We never sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We retain your information as long as necessary to perform the contract or as long as legally required (up to 7 years for accounting records).
6. Your rights (CCPA & state laws)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and request the portability of your personal information. You also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell). Submit a request to info@lightmute.com. We respond within 45 days.
